Beginning with the 2019 - 2020 season the league instituted a new award to recognize those hockey players who have excelled in the classroom. Similar to the All-Division designation for the best performing players in the league, the scholar-athletes on the squads are named to an All-Academic Team. Originally, the award recognized only seniors who had been with their teams at least three seasons, and were either members of the National Honor Society, or had at least a 3.5 overall grade point average (GPA). Beginning in 2024 the designation was opened to include both juniors and seniors with at least a 3.3 GPA. In 2025 the minimum GPA standard was raised to 3.8 All junior and senior players meeting the qualifications are named to the team. The academic stars are honored at the league's All-Division Banquet after the season. Listed below are the Patriots' scholar-athletes designated as All-Academic Team players.
