Competitive Basketball for 4th-12th Grade

4th-8th grade athletes compete on single gender teams in the Tampa Bay Christian Athletic League (TBCAL).  The season runs mid-February through April.  Games and practices are during the week (usually 2 practices and 2 games).  4th-6th grade athletes play at 3:30 and 7th-8th grade athletes play at 4:30.

High school athletes (younger athletes considered for some sports based on experience) compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).  The season runs mid-October through January.  Games and practices are during the week (2-3 practices and 2 games) and games are typically in the evenings. There is mandatory FHSAA paperwork that must be completed (with strict deadlines) for FHSAA athletes. This is due before the season begins.

These teams play in a competitive league and play time is not guaranteed in every game. Coaches strive for a winning game while developing all players abilities.
You must be a HEAT member to play basketball. You can join HEAT here for a reduced fee of $45 for the rest of the school year.  Season fees are $125 per player and a $50 deposit check for each uniform returned when the HEAT jersey is returned in the same condition it was received. A sports information form is required to be filled out and returned to the team parent. Players will need black shorts in addition to their jersey for games.
