Jr Pro Basketball is a rec league played through Knox County Parks and Recs.

The season begins in November with practice.

We will have an evaluation day for all the players, then coaches will draft the players.

Because we are a rec league, we try to keep teams even the best we can; therefore we cannot accept request for friends to be on the same team or for carpooling reasons.

Games normally begin the 1st weekend of December. There are normally 2 games played the month of December and then there is a break for Christmas and New Year's.

Normally there are 8 regular season games.

Games resume around the 2nd weekend in January and the season is completed the end of February.

We pair up with other local leagues for games.

Practice is normally 1 time a week for 1 hour.

We practice at Hardin Valley Elementary school and we play at Hardin Valley Academy.

Games are on Saturday

Practice could be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

5 and 6 year olds normally will practice for 30 minutes prior to their game on Saturday and then play for 30 minutes. Games are at Hardin Valley Elementary school.

There are All-Star's selected at the end of the season and they play in a tournament once the teams are established.

During the season, there is no charge for the games, but when there are tournaments, there will be a gate fee.
