The Grays have been blessed with the opportunity to call Castle Field home for six consecutive seasons. Located in Anoka, it is one of the premier baseball fields in the Metro area and is home to the Anoka Tornados, Anoka Bucs and Anoka Legion and VFW ballclubs. Castle Field is managed by the Castle Field Association and Thanks to Dave Steinbring and Jim Olson the Grays are lucky enough to call Castle their home den.
Helping the Minnoka Grays feel at home is the broadcasting wonder Jeff Huffman who the Grays brought on in the summer of 2019. Before Jeff there was the two man team of Richard Rohling and Anthony Mahady. You can hear these Jeff at all Grays home games, calling the game and making sure the fans - and players - enjoy themselves and try not to take this "game" of baseball too seriously.
Even though the Grays started at Frank Quilici Field and made it their home for seven years - it was just too expensive and time consuming to keep up the field by themselves without help from the city and when Castle Field presented an opportunity the Wolves jumped dens. The Grays still use Quilici for practices, exhibitions and as a second home for makeup games.
We want to say Thank You again to Dave Steinbring, JD Wells, Jeff Huffman, Lars Larson and the Castle Field Association for making Grays home games a unqiue and fun atompshere for all the players and fans.
