How to write out a line up card:
(insert photo here)
you get a copy, the other team gets a copy and umpire gets a copy.
Let the scorekeepers see both teams copies to write out the line up in their scorebook before game time.
-Last name, First Initial.
-For Minors and up please put position they are to start.
-When you are making a change, as a coach you let the umpire know and then let both score keepers know.
-If you ever have a player running, either put them the end of the line up or as a sub. if they do not show up for their at bat, you either cross them off or if you think they will still show up take an out, next batter up.
-If you know a player is not showing up, put them at the very bottom of the line up card and scorebook and write absent.
Borrowing of players if you are low on numbers:
Please reach out to your towns lower division (majors borrow from minors, minors borrow from rookies, rookies borrow from tball and tball borrows from tball).
If you are unable to find a player, please reach out to the team you are playing, see if they will have an extra player for you to borrow for game time.
