As we plan to expand and enhance our program we are looking for head coaches and assistant coaches for our program.  We are seeking dedicated, qualified and experienced coaches who love coaching the game and especially love working with youth athletes (boys & girls), ranging from 2nd Grade through High School. Qualified candidates will have a high level of knowledge of the game of basketball, excellent communication skills, and willingness to coach the D1 Team philosophy. College playing experience is highly recommended but not mandatory. 

Requirements:

• Must be able to attend Open Workouts (Nov/Dec) and Tryouts (Jan)
• Must be able to coach practices two (2) times per week (March – June)
• Must be able to coach at tournament games on average two (2) weekends per month (4 to 5 games over the course of both days, Saturday-Sunday and occasionally on a Monday)
• Create practice and game plans; provide appropriate feedback for development
• Must complete and maintain necessary clearances

Qualifications:

• Played Competitive Basketball
• Coached Competitive Basketball – AAU, High School, College
• Worked with youth athletes; ability to teach techniques at an age appropriate level
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong Organizational & Time Management skills
