CODE OF CONDUCT
It is the desire of the Homewood Youth Football and Cheer Board members to develop the best youth program in the area. Our goal is to have a youth football and cheer program that excels in every aspect. We aspire to excellence in our football and cheer coaches, players and cheerleaders, parents, equipment, and facilities. It is our goal to not only develop football and cheer skills, but also life skills for the young people participating in the program.
It is the intention of the Board that all participants and spectators adhere to our code of conduct at all games, practices, and activities. The Board reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who consistently violates our code of conduct.
We expect coaches, players, cheerleaders, parents, other family members and friends attending any event to adhere to the following items:
1. We expect our program to create a positive environment as we compete against other youth programs. All parties involved with our program should behave in such a way that is respectful towards others.
2. We expect all parties involved with our program to refrain from using derogatory and abusive language. All parties attending events should not use profanity or yell disrespectful words to referees, coaches, fellow players, anyone associated with our program, or the opposing team.
We want everyone involved in our program to be enthusiastic and energetic in their support for our teams. It is the Board’s desire to never have to enforce the code of conduct. Please be considerate and thoughtful as you attend events.
