Corey Julks

Corey Julks | Class of 2014

Corey Julks, a proud graduate of the Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2014, has achieved what many athletes dream of—making it to the Major Leagues. After a standout high school career at Brook, Corey went on to play college baseball at the University of Houston, where he became a key contributor for the Cougars.

 

Corey was selected by the Houston Astros in the 8th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He made his Major League debut with the Astros in 2023, bringing his skill, speed, and work ethic to the highest level of the game. Corey’s journey from Brook to the Big Leagues continues to inspire the next generation of Wolverine players.

Matt Svehla, a member of the Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2014, was known for his strong presence on the field and leadership in the dugout. His work ethic, reliability, and team-first mindset helped set the tone for the program during his time as a Wolverine. Matt’s contributions continue to be remembered as part of the foundation that shaped Brook Baseball's competitive culture.

Mike Britt | Class of 2014

Mike Britt, Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2014, continued his playing career at West Virginia Tech after graduating. A tough competitor and dedicated teammate, Mike brought consistency and leadership to the field during his time as a Wolverine and beyond.

 

Today, Mike has come full circle—returning to Brook as an assistant coach, where he now helps mentor and develop the next generation of players. His commitment to the program is a true example of giving back, and we're proud to have him on staff.

Oscar Kutch, a standout from the Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2013, continued his academic and athletic journey at Tufts University, where he competed for the Jumbos baseball program. Known for his determination and team spirit, Oscar helped carry the values of Brook Baseball into a highly competitive collegiate environment.

 

His time at Tufts reflects the academic and athletic balance that defines success beyond high school, and we're proud to recognize his accomplishments as part of the Wolverine legacy.

Nolan Trabanino | Class of 2012

Nolan Trabanino, a member of the Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2012, signed to play at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). A key contributor during his time at Brook, Nolan brought competitive fire and consistency to the mound.

 

His advancement to Division I baseball is a testament to the talent and determination he displayed as a Wolverine. We proudly recognize Nolan as part of Brook’s continuing tradition of excellence.

Keaton Miller, Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2011, continued his baseball career at Southern Arkansas University, home of the Muleriders. Keaton’s hard work, skill, and determination made him a standout during his time at Brook and helped him take that success to the collegiate level.

 

His journey represents the dedication it takes to play beyond high school, and we proudly celebrate Keaton’s achievements as part of Brook Baseball’s lasting legacy.

Ryan Vruggink | Class of 2011

Ryan Vruggink, Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2011, signed to continue his baseball career at the University of Houston. A talented and reliable player, Ryan played a key role during his time at Brook and brought that same level of effort and focus to the collegiate level.

Matt Juengel | Class of 2008

Matt Juengel, Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2008, advanced to play at Texas A&M University, where he continued to excel as a standout athlete. His powerful bat and versatile skill set helped him contribute at the collegiate level and set a strong example for those who followed.

Aaron Melebeck | Class of 1996

Aaron Melebeck, Clear Brook Baseball Class of 1996, went on to play professionally with the Spokane Indians, a Minor League affiliate. As one of the program’s earliest alumni to reach the professional level, Aaron helped set the standard for excellence and possibility in Brook Baseball’s history.

 

His success at the professional level continues to inspire future generations of Wolverines, and we are proud to recognize his place in Brook Baseball’s legacy.

Greg Buchanan, a proud member of the Clear Brook Baseball Class of 2002, made a lasting impact during his time as a Wolverine. Known for his hard work and dedication to the game, Greg helped strengthen the foundation of the program in its early years.
