
Courtney Clark - Limestone Saint
Courtney, graduated from West Lincoln in 2014, where she was an accomplished volleyball, basketball, and softball player. As a freshman she was a member of West Lincoln’s Conference Championship team and hit a career-best four homeruns. Three of her four season at West Lincoln, she helped lead the Lady Rebels to the State Playoffs, with appearances in the thrid round of the playoffs in each of those seasons. After high school she decided to continue her softball career at Limestone College, in Gaffney, South Carolina.
As a Freshman, Courtney made five appearances and one start in the outfield, where she had six at bats on the season. She scored two runs and stole a base in a 15-1 victory over Fayetteville State on February 8 in Orangeburg, S.C, and scored another run in a pinch run spot in a 7-3 win over Southern Wesleyan (2/18) at Saints Field. As a Sophomore, Courtney appeared in three games for the Saints starting a lone contest. She provided a run against Emmanuel (3/15), while talliing a hit and an RBI against Barton (4/11). Then as a Junior, Courtney appeared in three games for the Saints, including the same number of at-bats on the season. Defensively she had two putouts against Mars Hill (4/17). In her final season with the Saints, Courtney appeared in four games, while going 2 for 8 at the plate. The Saints won all 4 of her starts on the season.
Courtney came back to West Lincoln High School in 2018 to help volunteer with the softball team, but eventually found a job that took her away from the program.
