What makes the MSFL different from other leagues is the concept of owner management. Many leagues appoint a commissioner/owner that is solely responsible for rule development and enforcement. However, the MSFL is a league owned by its teams and not by one individual. The MSFL is comprised of an Executive Board, which is elected by their peers. Each team has a vote on all issues which concern the league, and have the ability to propose changes as well.
