FAQs for Recreational Soccer (U4 – U10)

 

 

Where are the games played?

At the Padre Soccer complex at Bill Witt Park on Yorktown.  U9/U10 will have some teams that play out of house (within Corpus Christi area) as well as teams that play in house at Bill Witt.

 

What equipment does my child need to start soccer?

Your child is required to have a soccer ball (size 3 for U3-U8; size 4 for U9/U10) and shin guards at all practices.  You may also want to have cleats for your child and extra black shorts and socks for games.  Padre Soccer will supply a full uniform for both Fall & Spring seasons.  Your child must also bring water to all practices and games.

When will I be contacted by our coach?

Coaches will be given rosters soon after registration is closed.  Please allow one to two weeks after registration has closed.

 

What do I do if I have not been contacted by anyone?

1.) Make sure you have your email correct on your registration form (this is the main source for contacting you). 

2.) Check your junk email.
