Flamingo Flocking is an exciting fundraiser with ALL proceeds going directly to the Lancer Football Program to offset the costs of uniforms, helmets, meals, coaches, and equipment.

 

This is a fun activity in which you can involve the whole family.

FLAMINGO FLOCKING PROCEDURE

 

 

We are looking for 16 teams (made up of you and a friend) who would be willing to help us spread some hope and excitement by flocking for Lancer Football. We will have four flocks flying each night. You and your teammate will be responsible for just one flock (about 40 birds) for one week.

 

At each location there will be a ransom note and envelope left on the front door. This is how the homeowner pays the “ransom” to have the flock moved to an address of their choice. Jen or I will deliver the paper to you prior to your week.

 

1.    On Sunday, you will receive a text from the committee chair(s) an address where the flamingos have landed. This is where you pick up the flamingos.

2.    You will also receive a text from the committee chair(s) where the flamingos will land. This is where you will place all the flamingos along with signage.

3.    At a time that is convenient to you, please move the flamingos. We tried to move them in the evening at dusk so we wouldn’t get caught. You must be very stealthy!

4.    Please attach the paperwork (information sheet and envelope) to the front door of the home. These will be delivered to you prior to your week.

5.    You will receive a text the following day with the next address. Families have until 7:00 p.m. to notify us of the next location. If we haven’t heard from a family by 4:00p.m., we text the family that sent the address.

6.    Please flock from Sunday night until Saturday night. We suggest flocking in teams to make it more fun and to help in case you want or need to share/split nights.
