Questions about Hardin Valley Youth football:

 

Practice with teams begin the 2nd or 3rd week of July.

 

Normally practices are 2-3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

Once the season starts, there are 2 practices per week and 1 league game.

 

Practice last approximately 2 hours with no practices on Friday once High School Football starts.

 

Practice is at Hardin Valley Elementary school.   

 

Games are played on Saturday with home games being played at Hardin Valley Academy and away games at other area high schools. 

 

We do play bowl games on Saturdays and could be as many as 6. These are played at various High Schools (normally).

 

The season is from July to the 1st of November and often times the season is over the last of October.

 

All players will be provided with game/practice pants, shoulder pads, helmet and a game jersey. They only are allowed to keep their game jersey.

 

We currently have some practice jerseys and will allow players to have them until we run out. Players must provide cleats and socks and any other extra equipment they may want to use.

 

Football is a family committment and not being at practice will be one factor in regards to playing time.
