2019/20 Athletic Conditioning Weights Course for Freshman and Sophomores
Fall Registration:
5215/5216 - ATHLETIC CONDITIONING/WEIGHT TRAINING
All freshman and sophomore football players are required to sign up for the advanced weights course, section 5215/5216. Players need to ask the counselor to put them in Coach Amantia's classes offered 2nd thru 6th period. This weight course requires instructor approval and is designed for those competitive athletes with previous weight training experience. This class will focus specifically on the physical and psychological needs of the competitive athlete in the areas of weight training, flexibility, plyometric, and the performance enhancement skills (i.e., relaxation, visual imagery, and goal setting). Previous experience on competitive and interscholastic team is recommended.
PRE-REQUISITE: Weight Training coach's signature of approval required.
LAB FEE: $14 for PE shorts and T-shirts
1 Semester = ½ Credit
Football Players will take class for full year Grade 9,10,11,12
