Asst.Coach (4)
Summary:
Coaches are responsible for Carrying out the objectives of the sports program as outlined by the head coach. Instruct athletes in team and individual fundamentals, strategies, and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Coaches that volunteer for the Palmetto Havoc have to be present at practice and Home and away competitions.

  Responsibilities:
   
• instruct the athlete on proper form and techniques and in advanced exercises to maximize the players' physical potential;
• oversee athletes as they refine their individual skills;
• manage the team during both practice sessions and competitions;
• instill good sportsmanship, a competitive spirit, and teamwork;
• select, store, issue, and inventory equipment, materials, and supplies;
• substitute players for optimum team chemistry and success;
• evaluate or "scout" the opposing team prior to the competition;

• direct team strategy and call specific plays during competition     
  
  General Manager   (Closed)
  Summary:
  To co-ordinate all off and on the field football activities for the Havoc to ensure that all players and staff are provided with the highest level of support to enable the Havoc to compete and perform at the highest level.
  
  Pre Season
  *Coordinate formulation of the Football operational Plan
  *Appoint appropriate personnel, managers,tainers,runners and support staff to ensure smooth running on game days
  *Negotiate all game schedules,travel and league meetings
  *Provide assistance in consultation to treasurer of all players fees and team Eligilabilty
  *maintain all players and coaches community attendances
  
  During Season
  *Coordinate delivery of the Football Operational Plan
  *Liaise between players,coaches and Havoc executive
  *Ensure all equipment is available as required by coaches and game balls are in good condition
  *Ensure all staff are in attendance and are provided with appropriate equipment to undertake their specific role
  *Oversee the maintenance and mangement of all game time equipment, and football are retain by Havoc
  *Maintain all players and coaches community attendance
  
  
  Marketing Manager    (Open)

  Summary:
  The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of various marketing tactics ensuring they are properly representative of the Palmetto Havoc Organizational values. This position will manage all strategic advertising, and vendors for the Palmetto Havoc Organization. Analyzes results and takes action to maximize marketing. Experience in sports not necessary but recommended.

                     Qualifications:

  •         Organizational as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must 
  •         Accurate typing and data entry skills
  •         Recognize discrepancies in written/recorded data/information.
  •         Communicate effectively with management
  •         Experience in negotiating value added opportunities

       Responsibilities:

  •         Create and implement new marketing vehicles to maximize exposure of the Palmetto Havoc Organization

  Summary: 
  This position requires a high volume of writing, proofreading, multi-tasking and strong attention to detail in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Hours are flexible and will be agreed to by management and staff. Experience in sports not necessary but recommended.

  • Prior writing experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel

  Responsibilities

  • Assist with the content management of Palmetto Havoc org including player features, game stories, and stats.
  • Assist in writing team media guide, weekly press releases, weekly game notes and home game programs.
  • Assist with player/coach interview requests
  • Write player bio updates
  • Assist with bi-weekly newsletter to fans and media updating the Palmetto Havoc throughout the off-season and weekly newsletter during the season
  • Maintain interview log which records each appearance and interview a player or staff member has done on television or radio for their use in the future

  Summary:

  Responsible for all sales activities and relationship building in assigned accounts.  Manage quality and consistency of sponsorships and service delivery.

  Summary:

  Statisticians are concerned with the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantitative information. Their primary role is as a collector and validator of data. Their secondary role is in identifying newsworthy items of statistical interest at the level of exploratory data analysis. Experience in sports is necessary and recommended.

  Responsibilities:

  • Recording statistics as events happen
  • Checking statistics against play-by-play
  • Preparing final statistics for league records
  • Serving as official scorer for the Palmetto Havoc Organization
  • Entering data into a computer
  • Preparing mid-game and final summary reports for the media
  • Keeping up to date on changes in statistical scoring rules
  • Producing statistical reports with detailed information about specific players
  • Records and/or posts individual and team statistics

  Photographer (Position Filled)

   

  Summary:

  The Photographer will be the Official Photographer of the Palmetto Havoc.  The Sports Photographer will be responsible for capturing live and still photos of all games, events and organizational activities.  This job will require a close working relationship with the management staff of the Public Relations and Marketing Team. Experience in sports is necessary and recommended.

  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management
  • Work under deadline pressure and meet deadlines

   Responsibilities:

   

  • Taking pictures of, either action shots during, or pictures before and after games, and events
  • Working with the Public Relations and Marketing Team to determine what kind of images are needed
  • Using specialized and expensive equipment suitable for low-light and difficult weather conditions
  • Displaying a genuine interest in the sports covered, so that you are well informed and able to match suitable pictures to events, and players
  • Taking various pictures to be transferred to the website
  • Assist with special projects as needed

   

   Videographer (Position Filled)

   

   

  Summary:

  The Videographer will be the Official Videographer of the Palmetto Havoc Organization.  The Sports Videographer will be responsible for gathering, shooting, and editing sports stories/events to be used as determined by the management staff of the Palmetto Havoc Organization.  The Videographer may be asked to participate in all audio/visual production for the Palmetto Havoc. This job will require a close working relationship with the management staff of the Public Relations and Marketing Team.  Experience in sports is necessary and recommended.

   

   Qualifications:

  •          Experience in Videography recommended
  •          Ability to work well with others toward the goal of developing quality production
  •          Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
  •          Ability to work overtime, as needed     
  •          Communicate effectively with management
  •          Work under deadline pressure and meet the deadlines
  •          Able to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
  •          Proficient with operating a personal computer and use of MS Excel/Word/Outlook and other required programs

                               

   Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities are to shoot and edit materials
  • Assists in set preparation for remote productions, including set-up, lighting, placement of cameras, running of cables, location of microphones, color balancing of cameras, etc.
  • Monitors video and audio quality when editing material for newscast  *optional
  • Checks all equipment to ensure proper functioning and performs maintenance as required
