Indoor

Belle Fourche indoor/winter soccer is a youth soccer program operated by volunteer parents and coaches, not the Belle Fourche Soccer Association.

The BFSA's role is to

  • provide official rosters
  • provide players' cards
  • schedule practice space with goals
  • collect required fees for insurance coverage
  • collect fees for the rental of practice space

The BFSA also hosts the Center of the Nation Indoor Tournament in February.

Indoor/Winter teams are formed by volunteer coaches who select their own players from the area. Boys and girls ages 6 to 19 may participate. Some adult-level competition is also available. The season runs from November to March. Weekly practices are held throughout the winter at South Park Elementary Gym and Belle Fourche Rec Center and are scheduled through the BFSA. Play is limited to tournaments held generally from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon around the area.

For more information on the rules associated with indoor soccer, search FUTSAL. It is also recommended that you read the tournament rules for each location as times and minor changes to the rules are common.

Tournaments are played in various towns including Rapid City, Sturgis, Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Gillette, and several East River locations. Each team is responsible for its own tournament fees and gear. Fees are usually split up between each player on the team.
