
Karsen Leonhardt - Campbell Camels
Karsen, a 2014 graduate of West Lincoln High School, had an outstanding career as a Lady Rebel. During her injury riddled career Karsen earned a total of 10 letters in cheerleading, softball, volleyball and weight training. Her personal accomplishments include 2012 All-State, All-Conference, All-District and Gaston Gazette First Team... 2011 All-Conference, All-District and Gaston Gazette Second Team... Tallied .438 batting avg, six homers, six triples,18 doubles, 39 stolen bases and 58 RBI in first two seasons... An injury kept her from playing junior season.
Once at Campbell Karsen as a Freshman, in 2015, participated in 40 games with 52 plate appearances... Scored 11 runs along with 14 hits... Along with her two walks, she also recorded two stolen bases... Finished the season with a .269 batting average and a .309 on-base percentage. Then as a Sophomore, in 2016, she appeared in 36 games for the Camels with 58 at-bats... She hit a pair of doubles and one triple during the campaign... She scored 13 times on the year, knocked in five RBI and stole four bases... She collected a .293 batting average and a .323 on-base percentage on the year. Once again her career was cut short by injuries as she decided to give up softball to pursue a career in the medical field.
