
Kylee Leonhardt - Lenior Rhyne Bears
After leaving West Lincoln High School, where she lettered in softball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and swimming, Kylee decided to play softball for the Lenior Rhyne Bears. As a Freshman (2018) she appeared in 49 games for the Bears, starting in all 49 games of those games. She totaled 31 runs and 51 RBIs for the season and was named 2018 SAC Freshman of the Year. During her Sophomore (2019) season she was named to All-SAC First team.. Started in all 45 games for the Bears... Finished with a .338 average with 8 Homerun's and 33 RBI's on the season. She also added 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and 1 triple. Then in a Covid shortened Junior (2020) season she played and started in 23 games for the Bears... finished with .420 average, 10 Homeruns and 27 RBIs on the season.. Her 10 homeruns lead the SAC and was good for 2nd in all of D2.. Her 27 rbis were good for 3rd in the SAC and 17th in all of D2... Went 3-5 with 2 HR's and 6 RBIs in a victory against Lees-McRae on February 29. As a Senior (2021), Kylee was named to the NFCA Second-Team All-American, First-Team All-Southeast Region and All-SAC First Teams during her best campaign to date... She played and started in all 33 games.. hit .366 with 12 HRs and 33 RBIs during the season while adding 9 doubles and a triple. As a Graduate (2022): Kylee was the first two-time All-American in program history. She tied and broke the program record for most homeruns against Queens on 3/15/22...then on 4/23/22 broke the record for RBIs in team history with a solo homerun against Carson-Newman...Finished the year hitting .359 with 15 Homeruns and 47 RBIs... added 41 runs while walking 33 times. She was named SAC First Team All-Conference selection; NFCA and D2CCA First Team All-Region; D2CCA Honorable Mention All-American; and NFCA Second Team All-American.
