SFTBL LEAGUE PITCHING RULES/ GAME TIME LIMITS/ MERCY RULES

 

 

PITCHING RULES

1. Pitch counts will be enforced:

12U-15U - 85 pitches per day

11/U - 75 pitches per day

10U - 70 pitches per day

9U – 65 pitches per day

If pitcher reaches his pitch count he will be allowed to finish pitching to the batter. If pitching rule is broken pitcher is removed.

2. 9U pitchers will get 1 balk warning and instruction. Each subsequent balk will result in the runner advancing.

3. 10U and above there will be no balk warning

 

GAME TIME LIMIT

1. 9U-12U no new inning will start after 1 hour 50 minutes

2. 13U-14U no new inning will start after 2 hours

3. 9 inning games 8-U 2:15   9U-12U 2:30    13-JV 2:45

4. Mercy Rule (6 inning games) 15 after 3, 8 after 4

5. Mercy Rule (7 inning game) 15 after 3, 12 after 4, 8 after 5

6. Mercy Rule (9 inning game) 15 after 5  / 12 after 6 /  8 after 7
