Welcome to the Ruben S. Ayala High School Baseball Program. Our teams had another solid year in 2015-2016.  This program continues to get stronger and stronger, and the talent at all levels is truly unbelievable! Coach Vogt begins his sixth season at the helm of the Ayala Baseball Program this year, and continues to build a quality and highly competitive program with an impeccable reputation. 

 

Our mission, as a booster club, is to provide resources to Coach Vogt and his staff to keep building Bulldog Baseball into a premier program for our student athletes. All parents of Ruben S. Ayala High School Baseball are members of the booster club. You are encouraged to engage in the program to make the baseball experience special for current and future student athletes. 

The Ayala Baseball Booster Club is a 501(c) (3) Non-profit organization and was established to support the baseball program. Through our volunteer organization we raise funds, maintain and improve the facilities, promote school pride, and aide in coordinating special events for the baseball program. 

 

We have several large fundraising events during the school year that take a tremendous amount of work. In October, we have our highly successful and fun Golf Tournament at Western Hills Country Club. This tournament sells out every year, but as you can imagine, requires a lot of preparation and event day volunteers. In November this year, we are lucky to have booked player favorite, Domingo Ayala, to bring his baseball comedy to our school, and in February we will begin our Adopt-A-Bulldog Program.  This proved to be a huge success for our program, but again, we need volunteers. 

 

We are proud that last year’s fundraising efforts enabled us to rebuild both the home and visitor dugout areas to address safety and space issues on the Varsity Field. We are also hoping to add new netting to our batting cages and add a halo around the home plate area.  

 

We also host a Pre-Season Baseball Dinner where we are able to introduce all of our teams and coaches for the upcoming season, and then, of course, the season culminates in a banquet to honor our players, salute our departing seniors, and say thanks to our coaches and staff. 

 

You will notice I keep hinting at volunteers. I, we, need your help. Ayala Baseball offers a truly unique and memorable experience for our players, but to make sure we maintain our reputation and success, parent help is mandatory. Please find a way to get involved! We need your support. 

 

I look forward to another successful year as Ayala Bulldog Baseball continues its growth into one of the area’s top programs.
