The Mountain Valley Youth Football League (MVYFL) does not have a minimum play policy, but after playing in a league that did, we felt it was important to our community and our players to continue having a minimum play policy. After careful consideration of all the factors (shorter quarters, larger teams, etc) we have decided on the below minimum play policy for our teams. Each coach will be encouraged to exceed the minimum plays in a game, however there may be cases where only the minimum is met. For D1 teams making the playoffs, there will be no minimum play policy for the remainder of the post-season.
