Nicole Figuerola enters her 14th year as the Head Athletic Trainer at West Broward High School. Figuerola has been a member of the Bobcat Tribe since the school opened in 2008 and is responsible for all the health and well beings of all of the Bobcat Sports Teams.
In 2018, Figuerola was nominated for the National Athletic Trainer Association’s (NATA) Most Valuable Athletic Trainers Award and was also inducted into the West Broward Athletics Hall of Fame. Figuerola was also awarded the inagural BCAA/U18 Athletic Trainer Of The Month in October 2018. Additionally, in 2017 Figuerola was honored with the Jennifer Cameron Award by Head Coach, Harrison Albert. The Jennifer Cameron Award was named after the Boys Program's Head Coach who set the foundation for the Boys Program. The Jennifer Cameron Award is the highest honor that can be received by an individual in the West Broward Boys Volleyball Program.
Nicole holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree from Florida International University. Nicole is an irreplaceable component to the Bobcat Volleyball Program and we would not function without her doing what she does.
