Playing Rules

Teams will play under USA Softball Rules unless otherwise noted below.  

 

 

  1. Games will be 90 minutes long, finish the inning. 
  2. Coin toss for Home/Away.
  3. USA Softball Run Rule: 15 after 3, 12 after 4, 8 after 5.
  4. Teams may play 9 players or 10 players with a DP/Flex.
  5. No Protest per NFHS Rule. 
  6. No games end in a tie. If the game ends by completed innings or time limit and the score is tied then you go to international tie breaker until winner is determined; all age groups.
  7. Deaconess Sports Park will supply game balls. At the end of the game, each team will get one ball if they want it.
