The Preseason Kickoff is was created to give kids a chance to play teams that they normally would not get a chance to play. This is a chance to get teams ready for the season by being able to play teams they normally would not get a chance to play in the regular season.

PRESEASON KICKOFF RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

·DIVISIONS ARE 7U – 12U

 

• NO WEIGHT LIMIT FOR 8U-12U

 

• AGE CUT OFF IS MAY 1ST 2021

 

 

8u – 13u

 

• NO WEIGHT LIMIT OR RESTRICTIONS ON OFFENSE OR DEFENSE
• Teams will kick off after every Touchdown or Field Goal.
• Game Time: Two (2) Twenty (20) Minute Halves, Clock will stop after Extra Point Attempt and will restart when the ball is kicked off
• CLOCK WILL CONTINUE TO RUN EVEN IF A PLAYER RUNS OUT OF BOUNDS, INCOMPLETE PASS.
• CLOCK WILL STOP ON INJURY TIMEOUTS, COACHES TIMEOUTS, REFEREE TIMEOUTS, AND AFTER EXTRA POINT IS ATTEMPTED. 

• Two (2) Timeouts a half

• Game Ball: 8u – 10u A ball at least as big as The Wilson K2 (Peewee)
• Game Ball: 11u-12u A ball at least as big as The Wilson TDJ (Junior)
• Game Ball: 13u A Ball at least as big as The Wilson GST

 

Overtime

 

• Coin Flip to determine Possession
• Each team gets 4 plays from the 10-yard line to score
• If after 1st Overtime the score is the same, 2nd Overtime will start
• If after 2nd Overtime the score is the same, each team gets one play and the winner will be declared by most yards gained
