Washington Township Baseball & Softball (WTBBSB) Recreational Programs
Our programs consist of recreational Baseball and Softball for residents of Washington Township in Bergen County New Jersey. Non-residents are also welcome in our rec programs (please contact us for more information).
Most games are played in our town and against other teams in the same program with the exception of:
- Minor and Major Baseball will play a few games with neighboring towns
- Senior Baseball plays other neighboring towns
- Most Softball levels play neighboring towns
Since we are chartered with Little League International, we follow their Baseball bylaws and game rules in addition to a few local rules we adopted to benefit our programs. Our Softball teams may follow rules adopted by the local leagues. Click here for information on our program goals.
Please note that our recreational league is designed for any child interested in playing non-competitive Baseball, Softball and Kickball. The children will have fun while learning the basic skills of the game. Parents will see their children improve throughout the season. Our Coaches are parent volunteers who dedicate their personal time ensuring the children have fun and learn the basics of the game. Each team will hold approximately one practice and two games per week - one weekday and one Saturday game (Instructional will hold one practice and one game on Sunday weekly while Kickball will hold a few introductory practices and one game on Sunday weekly). The season will last approximately 8-10 weeks usually starting early to mid April.
All costs for recreation are included in registration fees.

* Discount of $20 for two family members, $25 for three or $30 for four not included with Senior Baseball or Softball. Discount applied during checkout (e.g. Tball $120 and Minor Softball $130 registration within same family will total $250 less $20 discount, net $230 registration fee).
