Peterborough Rugby Registration 2023

 

ALL registrations are completed on-line through the Rugby Canada registration system called Sportlomo. The Peterborough Rugby Club is unable to accept cash or cheques as payment for registration.

 

Please read the following BEFORE clicking the button:

 

1. The registration fees found on the 'Teams' pages are broken into 3 parts: Rugby Canda and Rugby Ontario (our national and provincial governing bodies) take part of your fee to cover their operating costs and more importantly to cover player insurance. Peterborough Rugby receives what's left to cover the club's seasonal operating costs including but not limited to field rental, field lining, equipment, referee costs for games, clubhouse maintenance & repair etc.

 

2. The registration system will place you/your child in the age group associated with the birth year entered (it cannot be over-ridden). In exceptional circumstances, you/your child may request to play up or down an age group, Rugby Canada will require paperwork to be completed AND approved by a parent/guardian, your physician and the coach. This is for insurance reasons. Please direct playing up or down inquiries to our Director of Rugby, Madisyn Brownlee.

 

3. Attention PLAYERS who are also a coach, referee or member of the board? If you are a PLAYER who also coaches, referees or is board member, please select the Multi-role option (it's the first option available in the list). Once you are logged in/have created your sportlomo account, you will see a list of registration categories under the Multi-role options (you may need to scroll to the top of the page). Put a check mark in the boxes for the categories that apply to you then scroll to the bottom and click continue. The system will only charge you once for the Rugby Canada and Rugby Ontario fees which will result in you being charged the correct/LOWEST amount!

If you choose each category separately outside of the Multi-role category when registering, the system will charge you the full price for each membership (more than you should be paying!!). If you have any questions about whether you should be registering in the Multi-role category. please email membership@peterboroughrugby.com and include your circumstances.

Playing coaches can request to to have the club portion of their registration fee reimbursed. Non-playing coaches can request to have their registration fee reimbursed by the club.

 

 

Financial Support

 

There are several subsidies available to assist qualifying families with the cost of registration for sports activities. The City of Peterborough has a comprehensive list on their website.
