Hello, we would like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to look over the following information about how you, your business, or your employer may be able to help support a great group of student athletes at Palmer High School. Athletics are a chance for a number of kids to learn important life skills such as trust, teamwork, responsibilities, leadership, hard work, and dedication. Many of these fine student athletes will become tomorrow’s leaders, and we are confident these young men and women will represent Palmer High School, the Mat-Su Valley, and Alaska in every activity and life choice they make.

            Funding in our schools for extracurricular activities is limited. Many students are turned away simply by the cost of participating and purchasing equipment. The Palmer High School Moose Boosters Wrestling Club, as well as the 2017 team, is currently working on fundraising projects to help minimize, if not eliminate, these prohibitive costs. Costs include the purchasing of uniforms, warm–ups, headgear, wrestling supplies, wrestling mats, and travel. 

           

The 2017 Palmer High School Moose Wrestling Team will be hosting the 15^th annual Lancer Smith Memorial Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 18–19, preceded by a home dual on Thursday, November 17. This popular tournament will be held at the Menard Center and is already filling up and the 2017 tournament field already has confirmed teams including your home team, the Palmer Moose. First, we invite you to come by the tournament to get a chance to meet these athletes and see them compete. Second, we ask for your support by becoming a team sponsor for the tournament and the 2017 season. We are expecting over 450 athletes representing 40 schools, as well as their families and avid spectators from the entire state at this great tournament. Additional home duals may be schedules due to

• Recognition of your business on our team t–shirts that will be worn all season around the state (must be received prior to 10/20/2017)
• Inclusion of business card ad (if provided), and/or name in 2017 Lancer Smith Memorial Tournament Program
• Posting of business name on the Palmer High School Wrestling web site (under development)
• Sponsor’s name banner displayed at tournament and all home events
• Recognition by the announcer during the tournament and at home duals
