"I just finished my fourth week of bootcamp at SSSF and it has changed my life. I have done many bootcamps over the years (and paid steep prices) and none of them compare to SSSF. This is a place where you are not only becoming stronger physically ..but mentally as well. The trainers (Scott, Bill and Erin) are extremely knowledgable in fitness and fighting and they are also patient, strong, kind, and motivating. SSSF has built my self confidence in making me realize I can do anything. I missed one class so far and felt empty for the entire day. It's empowering to throw boxing gloves on and kick butt!! I am finally getting the arms I have always wanted...strong and toned and not to mention my legs feel like powerhouses. I am addicted to the beautiful high it gives me while I am there and stays with me when I leave. I don't think I can ever go back to what I thought working out was before. I ♥

"In Mass for a team that takes someone from knowing nothing about MMA to a high level, I think it is South Shore Sportfighting."
This comment was made in a thread discussing SSSF's Josh Grispi and his upcoming UFC Title Fight against Jose Aldo...
"Grispi's school, South Shore Sportfighting, is the best MMA gym in New England. It is great to see someone coming out of there getting main event recognition. I think being on the East Coast hurts a little bit in getting the word out, but Grispi is going to arrive on the national scene, believe me." |
Bradley Koch: SSSF Member since 2005"As a professional, training in a safe environment is a top priority. South Shore Sportfighting provides a safe and challenging environment for me to grow. There are no egos, just a gym-full of men and women that want to get better, be challenged and bring themselves to new levels mentally and physically." "It is an honor to be a part of one of Massachusetts premier Mixed Martial Arts teams." |

"I have taken the cardio class that is open to the public on Monday and Wednesday nights several times (often I have been the only woman) and it is anything but a boring routine. It can seem a little intimidating going in there the first time - but Scott, who leads this class, is a really sweet guy (don't let the muscles and a$$-kicking abilty fool you) who will make sure you following along and encourages you to keep going. By the end of the class you are sweating out of pores you didn't know you had and you feel a GREAT adreneline rush. Bring plenty of water and be ready to lterally throw (and punch) yourself into a tough and fun work out. Time has prevented me from taking advantage of the women's classes - but I hope to in the near future!" |
Matthew Haney: SSSF Member since 2009"The head instructors - Scott & BIll are two of the most patient, polite instructors I've ever encountered. This is not at the expense of focused, aggressive, demanding training that truly creates top-notch athletes in the sport of MMA (mixed martial arts.) You only need to drop by once to know this place is legit. If you look at their fight records (e.g. the last AFO in Braintree, SSSF went 5 for 5) you'll see what I mean. If you have any trepidation, fear not - they'll train at any skill level of absolute beginner who's just looking for fitness to pro fighter looking to make it to the next level." |
