Each play night will have a night captain to set up and close.  They will be determined at the captains meeting at the beginning of the season.

All League games are to start by 5:30 pm, with a grace period of 15 minutes.

Park Closing: Since we still do not have lighting we must be adaptable. If it seems you will be unable to complete the match, choose a time to roll the last frame. Both teams must agree or refer to the Night Captain. Allow yourself time to put away equipment before it gets dark. If the match is tied at that time, each team will be recorded as a tie in the league standing.

Rainy Days:  Typically, when we get rained out, the call is made the day of, at the courts by the team captains or night captain. If it is determined earlier, we will contact the team Captains via text. In Incidents caused by weather, acts of God, civil disorder or other unforeseen reason during play, the ruling of the Night Captain and/or League officials present will stand with regard to the calling of the game.  If a game is so interrupted, it must be completed by the same number of players as participating in the original game.  Whenever possible, the original players shall finish the game.

Make-Up Games:  A League Board Member or the League Scorekeeper must be notified by BOTH TEAM CAPTAINS in advance when a make-up game or match is scheduled.  All make-up games/matches shall be played on the assigned court at Big Pine Key Park and must be completed by the established deadline each season.  The rules of the league shall apply during all make-up games and a score sheet must be completed and signed by both captains.

Player Conduct:

-          We are here to have fun and enjoy our time together.

-          Always keep “beverages” in cups, no can/bottle koozies.

-          Make sure to take all empty “beverage cans, bottles or containers” home with you.  Please do not dispose of empties in park trash cans or recycle bins.

-          Team Captains shall be responsible for the conduct of their players.  Any League member considered to be disturbing may be immediately suspended for the remainder of the season.
