Training Philosophy
Philosophy
We believe each player no matter what level should be practicing the basic fundamentals necessary to excel in this great game of basketball. Not only practice but practice the right way, practice perfectly over and over again. To practice a drill the wrong way only enforces bad form and habits that will be duplicated in a game. Players today are playing too many games and are NOT practicing the appropriate skills. You will not improve as a player by just playing games.
In this basic premise, we have designed the most unique and “game ready” devices and props used to promote individual skills in ball handling, passing and shooting.
Our skillz and drillz are challenging to any player at any level. The training methods will also promote endurance and increase speed as well as strength. The clinics and camps are designed to improve every facet of their game and not just have scrimmages. Players are split appropriately into their own age or skill level and will be pushed to the next level.
We have also invested in the “shoot away” gun, which is the best shooting machine to date for improving your player’s shot. By correcting or adjusting players form then building “muscle memory” by taking hundreds of shots, this specific training will create situations where players can improve their skills with game-like intensity. The computerized scoreboard counts and displays makes, total shots and the shooting percentage.
Just an FYI, all this was written years ago (2004) but look for a copy and paste version elsewhere! This is the blueprint for success. It's about reps not minutes!
