Waivers and Player Conduct

 

Upon registeration, all captains agree to notify all players and agree to follow our rules of conduct and policies!

 

Waivers:

 

All players agree , Brightside  Basketball and staff are held harmless to any issues including but not limited to  personal injury from actions held during games or at locations.     All players play at their own risk and remedy any injuries on behalf of themselves and their agreement to risks involved.  This is noted on our policies and procedures page as well as listed here.  All payers assume all liabilites and hold league harmless therof.    

 

Conduct:

 

Brightside Basketball reserves the right to remove players from the league and or suspend at our discretion without refund.   This includes teams and players that we find have violated our policies rules and behavior withour question or agreement.    We absolutely will not allow stop in play and game disruption for verbal assault to staff, players, refs or team-mates.     A history of arguments, fightes or disruption of play will not be allowed in any division.      As referees become fearful of retaliation or threats it becomes difficult and our goal is to create a competitive but friendly experience for everyone.      If you receive a warning, it will next be a technical.  If you recieve a techinical a second will become an ejection.    If you receive a rejection you will not be allowed to pay the following week.  If you receive a second ejection, you will not be allowed back for the season, OR THE FOLLOWING SEASON!  Scorekeepers have to full authority to issue technicals, warnings and ejections.        

 

Additional rules and reguations:

 

Qualifications of division rules are in place to help us establish balanced level of play.   35 and over, means that players are 35 and over.    Recreational play does not allow college players for a reason.    If a player or team does not meet quaifications they will forfeit any game and or season should they continue to violate this rule. (Without Refund)

 

Payments:

 

Our Rules require that all teams pay a minimum of 50% before they can be placed on Schedule.   In addition, they are required to pay full balance prior to second game without exception.   Any team unable to pay will not continue without refund.    Any game missed game for non payment will not be made up and be considered a loss of game.   No Refunds!!!

 

MOST IMPORTANTLY,  PAY!   DON'T FIGHT OR ABUSE REFEREES!, FOLLOW THE DIVISION RULES!     AND WE WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND ALL BE BETTER PEOPLE FOR IT!!!!!
