wood bat would be good if the batter didn't have to face pitchers from 53ft instead of what it supposed to be a 60 1/2 ft distance from home to the pitchers mound.  those are just a couple fields not all are like that tho. there will be a lot of broken bats

I like wood bat idea, but if we cant make it happen the league should have some specifications for bats. The league wide open to any kind of bats including besr, bbcor, and even altered bats which can give the bats more "pop" that can be dangerous. Going to wood would eliminate that and be a true game.
