To Ties: Though your team may never have been involved in a physical tie, at the 2010 League meeting it was proposed that if games were rained out, DH would be listed as splits. Since this was the first year that this formula was to be used, the league decided to change the format to be a tie rather than a split. The reason for this change was that we are a .Pct league in terms of positioning and monies are paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each division. A split would not be a true indicator and could alter a payout, especially if a team never had rainout and finished forth because of the automatic split given to s team above them in the standings. With a tie, it has no effect on the W/L .Pct. I hope this information is of value to you. Of course if you have further Q's, you can give us a call. RTR |

Red, thanks for the kind words and allowing me the opportunity to umpire your games last weekend. The guys were a pleasure and I had a good time. I believe you are doing a great thing and like I said 4 teams was a start for you. I am happy that we are talking about putting a sunday program together, and in additon, I already have some teams interested when we band together for that division. I see your four team program being anywhere from 10-12 real quick. Again, I am happy that we will be able to grace Cunningham together in the very near future. Yours in sports, RTR |

Just wanted to show some love Richie Rich for coming out and helping my league out this weekend. See thats what partnership is all about. There was a time last yr that Richie looked out when we had our David Colon July 4th Tournament weekend... And he chiped in without even knowing the guy or either myself. Sometimes good deeds get rewards.. Richie everyone said they had a good laught with u. And I'm glad my boyz sent u the same respect.. I look forward to our partnership coming full circle in the near future. Its a blessing. Can u send me those teams that u saw out there that showed u some love so i can shout them out in my guestbook... We need to have a meeting before next yr and talk over details on our future plans...
