Capitals Guestbook

Welcome to the Guestbook of the Central Plains Female Capitals. We are very excited about our upcoming season and continuing involvement in Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League featuring teams operating within Hockey Manitoba's designated Regions. The 2015-16 Season will see Central Plains play a 28 game League Schedule plus playoffs within a 8 team circuit within the MFMHL.

The team will also play a Round Robin in st Cloud MN., in their own 9 team Preseason Showcase at the PCU Centre in Portage la Prairie, the Notre Dame Hounds Tournament in Wilcox Sask., and Shaftsbury Winter Classic in Winnipeg, exhibition games and MFMHL playoffs leading to a schedule of over 50 games.

The Caps will be practicing at least twice a week along with dry-land training out of the BDO Centre for the Community in Portage la Priarie where they now have a new permanent dressing room.

All of our games will be played in Portage at either the BDO Centre or new PCU Centre.

Congratulations on a great year!

Just wanted to say GO CAPS GO! And congratulations on another great 2015/ 16 campaign and continued success in this years playoffs. Due to disability and our circumstances we don't get to see you play that often but always keep track of the scores here on the website! We are proud of you all and just love your work ethic and hockey skills! I sometimes get to see you practice and you all work hard..keep it up! And all the best the rest of the way this year! HI to everyone from the coaching staff to this years 2014/2015 Central Plains Females Capitals! Although I have not yet had the chance to get out to watch a practice or a game...I am there in spirit with the great quality of hockey you ladies are putting on the ice...just a great job and I wanted along with my wife Shelley to pass along our best wishes and to keep up the hard work and great play! Fun to watch hockey! Go Get em Capitals!

It looks like the 2012-13 team is off to a great start. I check in from time to time to see how the Caps are doing. Miss the team and parents after 3 years watching Maggie and everyone else. Best of luck for continued success!

Coaches, Ladies,
It was a pleasure to see you in action again last week (27 October 2010) in Ste Anne. You should all be proud of your efforts and your team. It is easy to see that you are part of an excellent high level program designed to bring out the very best in you as an athlete. Wish we were still a part of it. Have a great year.

2008-2009

I noticed that Hockey Manitoba is establishing a 'Manitoba AA Female Midget Hockey League' (MFMHL) for the 2008-09 season with an 18 game season.
I am guessing that this is the league that the Female Caps will be in ? ?
