EQUIPMENT SWAP
Post your old equipment to sell or offer to donate it to someone looking for some gear so they can start playing our great game:
RULES
All games follow standard USA Hockey on-ice rules prior to USAH rule changes made for 2021.
The following are highlighted points that most new players ask about:
*Team rosters are ten skaters and a goalie
*Teams are only permitted a maximum of ten skaters and a goalie for each game
*During playoffs only the ten rostered skaters are allowed to play for a team. Teams may sub to 9 skaters if needed and goalie subs are permitted, however teams are not allowed to use subs that materially change the nature of the game/matchup. If a team has question they can be directed to Tytus. The team forfeits their game if they violate the playoffs sub rules.
*Obtainable pass rules for icing
*The T.H.L. uses hybrid icing, while the BBHL uses automatic icing
*Touch up offsides
*Waste high wind ups on slap shots
*No whistle on two line passes
*Diving and embellishment are called
*Best of three shootout for tied games in the THL (any player that is subbing or has a penalty at the end of regulation is not eligable to shoot in the shootout)
*The THL will use stop time for the final 30 seconds of 1st & 2nd period of each game, as well as in the final full minute of games that are tied or a one goal spread. For the playoffs 3rd period stop time will be in affect for the final minute if the game is within a two goal spread
*Any player that receives a game misconduct shall serve an automatic one game suspension unless informed otherwise by the commish
