Camarillo Baseball strives to be:
competitive athletically, focused academically, relevant in the community.
Values:
Selfless and relentless in our pursuit of excellence
Outcomes:
Compete in every game and every class with and for each other. Establish and grow a culture of belief, sacrifice and trust.
Our purpose extends beyond the white lines of a baseball field.
Ability is what you are capable of doing.
Motivation determines what you do.
Attitude determines how well you do it. Lou Holtz
Competition is a cornerstone of any high-level athletic program and we promote it whenever possible. I encourage our players to see their academic pursuits as a competition, just as they would a baseball game. Seek to be the best they can, control what they can, and never allow themselves to work less than they can.
If we adopt this mentality-compete at all times- and it becomes a part of what each player lives, breathes and sleeps, we will see dividends on the field in the months to come. A competitor always competes, not just when the game begins. Compete in school, practice, the weight room, and eventually- on the field.
Student -Athletes: Use this high school timeline as a way to stay on track for meeting initial-eligibility requirements. Compliments of NCAA Eligibility Center. View More Info Here
