   CBHL CODE OF CONDUCT

"IF ANY PLAYER HAS ANY INTENT TO INJURE ANOTHER PLAYER ON OR OFF THE FLOOR, THEY WILL BE GIVEN AN IMMEDIATE GAME MISCONDUCT OR A GROSS MISCONDUCT PENALTY AND FURTHERMORE DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. I.E.  BANNED FROM THE LEAGUE".

EVERYONE HAS LIVES OUTSIDE OF THE CBHL, NOBODY PLAYS TO GET HURT AND NOBODY SHOULD HAVE THE INTENTION TO HURT ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL.

CBHL IS A COMPETITIVE LEAGUE, BUT THAT BEING SAID, WE HAVE TO EMPHASIZE ON EVERYONES SAFETY FIRST, NO MATTER WHAT. THE SOLE FOCUS IS REVOLVED AROUND SKILL ONLY; SAFE, CLEAN AND QUALITY HOCKEY.

Players are to wear matching team color jerseys/shirts.

All players are to refrain from illegal plays such as body checking from the back, tripping, cross checking, slashing, hacking, elbowing, hooking/grabbing and or reckless stick work.

If a player on the floor is being reckless and uses the stick or plays body with intent to or leading to injury theyll be ejected from the game and team will be issued a 5 min major penalty, followed by a suspension.

What does hacking in the game of hockey mean?

Striking an opponent in the leg with a hockey stick using a swinging motion. A hack is also known as a slash and the player can be penalized/ejected from the game, if severe or if used with intent to injure.

Hacks happen often during a hockey game when players are going for possession of the ball in a crowded space on the floor. In this situation, the objective of the players involved is to retrieve the ball, so they will not be penalized for accidentally striking an opponent with their sticks unless it's reckless play. However, if they strike at an opponent's legs to prevent him from playing the ball or getting past them, they will receive a penalty for slashing. If they intentionally swing their hockey stick in an attempt to injure their opponent then they will receive a major or match penalty for slashing.

Players are to at all times refrain from playing bush hockey by hacking, two hand slashing and illegal-body-contact. Any abuse to the officials, staff or players can be suspendable offences, but will be penalties at the least.

Good Luck to ALL Teams.
