THIS IS THE HOME OF THE 2026 CLASS A TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

Wow, what a ride.  The Redbirds brought home the 2026 Class A Title by defeating the Sartell Muskies

6-5 in ten innings.  That capped a two weekend run as we defeated the Chaska Cubs 3-2 in our first game.

The second weekend opened with a game vs. Baseball 365 in New Prague.  We jumped out 4-0 and finished of 365 with a 4-1 victory.

We made the short trip back to Shakopee to take on the hometown Indians later in the day and took down Shako 14-3.

That win advanced us to Sunday to play Sartell.  After playing subpar and falling behind

3-0, we scored single runs in the forth, fifth and sixth to tie the game at 3.

The Muskies scored two in the top of the eigth to lead 5-3. After two out and nobody on, the

Birds rallied for two runs to tie it up at five. Both teams went scoreless in the ninth to send it to extras.

After holding Sartell scoreless, the Birds sent up the top of the order and  it

didn't take long.  Boxwell singled and stole second, Girtz was walked.  A double steal sent Box to third and

Girtz to second.  After some discussion, Sartell played a five man infild and pithed to Mossey.

Moss hit the first pitch he saw to right for the walk off single and our first STATE TITLE.

More to follow.
