This weekend 12A NW Thunder challenged themselves and played up in the 14U division!! They showed up ready to not just play.....but COMPETE and took home the hardware!!!

18A BLAST INTO SUMMER 2017

16A NW Thunder played up this weekend at 18A and face 3 solid teams saturday and battled with each of them down to the wire...in 1 run games!! Our girls brought the sticks to finish up the weekend pounding 5 out the park on sunday to take the championship!! It was a great end to a solid weekend of very good softball!!

ACERS NW CLASSIC 2017

NW Thunder 14A and 16A had a good showing at the Acers NW Classic this weekend against some of the best teams in Pacific Northwest and Canada!! Each team finished 4-2 on the weekend, with a combined 2 grand slams and 5 more homeruns!! The girls brought their sticks this weekend! Great job Ladies!!

10U NW Thunder takes 1st in 11U Bronze Division!

 

This group of 8/9 year olds played up in the 11U division this weekend. They faced older teams from Canada, Washington and Oregon and improved each game. They came back on day 2 winning 2 games reaching the Bronze division championship, beating Oregon Blaze 7-5. It was a good game, girls stepped up to challenge. Great job girls!! Look forward to watching this group continue to grow their game!

 

 

12 NW Thunder finishes in GOLD Bracket!

12U NW Thunder was knocked out in the Gold Bracket losing to the Acers in a run to the Championship!! This was their first 12U tournament and kick off to the 2017 season!! Good job ladies!!!

 

 

NW Thunder would like to welcome Arizona Wildcat Chelsea Suitos!!!

 

Chelsea Played 4 years at the University of Arizona for Mike Candrea where she was recruited as a shortstop and quickly filled the role of utility player playing both infield and outfield. Offensively Chelsea hit 2 hole as a lefty slapper for the Wildcats with a successful run hitting over 300+ in each of her 4 years against some of the top D1 programs in the country!! She is a competitor and we look forward to having her as part of our program!!

She takes a role as an assistant coach for our 16A team and will also offer group workouts for all our younger divisons!!

ASA / USA NATIONALS UPDATE 8/4/16!!!

NW THUNDER 01, is currently playing USA Nationals is SIoux Falls, SD! I am happy to report they are going strong and competing against some of the nations TOP teams!!!

They beat the South Dakota 14A state champs, lost a barn burner to Texas American Freedom by 1 run in bottom of 7, came back and beat a TOP Florida national ranked program GOLD Hurrincanes. We take huge pride in competing and representing the Northwest on a national stage against top talent!!!! Way to go NW Thunder.....way to represent the Pacific Northwest!!! We will keep you posted as they play Michigan Finesse today at 4:00PM!!
