The Genesee Rebels have an additional website with Team History, Player Bios, Sponsor Information, and more. Genesee has had a team in the Land O Lakes League since 1922. It originated as the Genesee Reds before changing its name to the Genesee Twins in 1969 when it was time for new uniforms. The name change was a shout-out to the "twin cities" of Genesee and Genesee Depot. In the early 90's, the Twins were relatively dominant in the league which led to a second team in Genesee, the Genesee Rebels. The Rebs debuted in 1993 and have continued until today.
