It's Secret Sister Festival Week!

Traditionally held the last week of the season - this years Festival begins on Monday, 11/1/2010 and ends with the traditional Secret Sister Pre-Meet Pasta Dinner the night before the last league race on Thursday, 11/4/10.

• This years dinner, same as last - Lauren Porter's 15 Ensueno E, Irvine 92620 714.573.9886 from 6 to 8 pm - we may even have a special guest - could it be Coach Gates?

Every year the Cross Country sisterhood performs this awesome and magnificent ritual to encourage bonding and love for one's cross country sister. Names are drawn by random from a hat to determine which girl you will be most sisterly to.

Each day, for four days, you will make sure your Secret Sister is showered with love and appreciation by following these guidelines:

• MONDAY - Secretly hide a gift of flowers and an encouraging note in your Secret Sister's 1st, 2nd or TA class.
• TUESDAY - Bring your Secret Sister home baked goodies for her to feast upon.
• WEDNESDAY - Leave a "Good Luck" charm in one of her classes.
• THURSDAY - Bring a special gift (no more than $15) to give to your Secret Sister at the dinner.  But before revealing yourself ~ we'll all try to guess who our Secret Sister is! 

Sister's - let's not forget our BROTHERS!
Lastly, on Friday we shall recognize our brothers on the Cross Country team and exchange a small token of appreciation and kindred spirit (whether it is a mere chocolate bar or a cuddly build-a-bear).
