Midgets Bats Hot in Opener

     The Sleepy Eye Midgets were leading 7-0 in the fourth inning before lightening struck to make the game come to an end. The midgets got off to a strong start scoring 6 runs in the top of the first inning. Nathan Schroepfer had 2 RBI's and Andrick Sanchez had 2 RBI's also, along with a triple. Carter Brinkman and Avery Stevens also had hits in the ball game. Sam Tessmer pitched all 4 innings without giving up a single hit. The Midgets next upcoming game is Wednesday against Redwood 2 and we will keep you posted on when the Morgan game will be finished.
