#16 URI came back from a two goal deficit to defeat #17 Lindenwood by the score of 4-3 in the first round of the 2014 ACHA National Tournament tonight at the University of Delaware.

For the 3rd time in 4 years the Rams head back to the ACHA Men's Division 1 National tournament at the University of Delaware. The Rams moved up one to #16 in the recently released tournament rankings and will face #17 Lindenwood in the first elimination round on March 6th. These 2 teams have faced each other only once and that was back in 2006 during the ACHA National semifinals where the Rams won 3-1. Rhody would go on the win the National championship against Penn State the next day.

ESCHL Playoffs this weekend hosted by Stony Brook at the Rinx

Playoffs quarterfinals begin on Friday 2/21. #1 Stony Brook and #2 Delaware get a bye to the semi finals on Saturday.
- #3 URI vs #6 West Chester at 6:10 pm
- #4 Lebanon Valley vs. #5 Rutgers at 8:50 pm
The semi final rounds begin at 6:30 on Saturday 2/22.
- #1 Stony Brook vs. lowest remaining seed at 6:30 pm
- #2 Delaware vs. highest remaining seed at 9:10 pm
The winners on the semi final rounds will play in the championship game on Sunday 2/23 at 3:10 pm.

Rams host PC for final regular season game this weekend at Boss Arena

#17 URI will be hosting Providence College at the Boss this weekend to wrap up regular season play. The Rams will be honoring graduating senior Sean O'Neil prior to game. This is the last home game of the season for the Rams so come out to the Boss and support your ice hockey team!! URI students with ID pay only $2.

URI holds at the #17 spots in the latest ACHA rankings after being swept by #6 Stony Brook this past weekend. Stony Brook moves up 1 to #5, Delaware holds at #8 and Rutgers holds at #21. Lebanon Vally jumps on at #25 and West Chester falls off the top 25 list.
