The Tanks are a Minor League Football team from West Portsmouth, OH. We are a registered non-profit business with the state of Ohio. Our goal is to set the standard for semi-pro football not just locally, or regionally, but nationally. Our external mission statement is to produce a championship product on the field; and at the same time maintain a championship organization off the field. Our internal mission statement is simple,
"A Championship mentality with a Family Atmosphere". We feel fortunate to call The Complex our home and believe we have one of the finest facilities and reciprocating relationships that truely is one of a kind in the semi-pro football world. We enjoy full use of both game and practice fields, home and away locker rooms, home and away showers, field house with weight room, coaches offices, tailgate deck for our "TankGators", and state of the art sound system for practices and game days. Finally, we enjoy the best fans in semi-pro football! Each and every Saturday night one can see the stands packed with "West Siders" creating a phenominal environment on game days. This includes our tailgaters affectionately named "The TankGators" who in our inaugural season showed up each week cooking and gathering supporting THEIR TANKS. The community support continues as we are so proud to boast that during the 2017 we have facilitated over 25 local sponsors whom we are proud to partner with this season.
