As the only league of its kind, the MLBL features teams representing various nationalities, who compete in a two-tiered divisional structure consisting of Pro and Semi-Pro levels.

MLBL teams compete every Saturday, with games scheduled during two time slots: 5:45 PM to 8:15 PM and 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Matches take place at fields in Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Thornhill.
