Bermuda Inline Hockey Men’s League was formed in 2011 by Scott Donald Campbell of Appin, Ontario, Canada.
Men's Inline hockey had been played since the 80’s in Bermuda on a scrimmage basis but never formally organized into a league. Guys would organize semi regular scrimmages. Scott Campbell arrived on the island in late 2009 and started playing in the scrimmages. By late 2010 Campbell started to gauge interest for a league, he quickly organized everything and in summer 2011 the Bermuda Inline Hockey Men’s League was born. The league started off as a 3 on 3 league consisting of 3 teams. It grew to 5 teams in 2012, also a 3 on 3 season. Then the rink was renovated to make it state of the art, bigger and better. In 2013 it went to a 4 on 4 league and consisted of 5 teams. 2014 Onwards, the league has stayed 4 on 4.
