*It is with deep sadness of heart that I must tell our Capitalland family that Coach Gary Weiss has passed away from an apparent heart attack.  Many of you have known Gary over the 38 years that he and I have been running Capitalland and I cannot begin to write in the confines of this short space the impact that he has had on the lives of so many of us in the lacrosse community.  He instilled or fostered the love of the game in so many young players that his effect on people will be felt for generations.  He was a great coach, a great person and to me one of my dearest friends. 

At this time no details have been announced about his celebration of life except for the fact that his eternal life in the Lords hands has begun.   We miss you already coach.*
