2015 Graduate, Cody Wood Commits to New Mexico

GREENWOOD VILLAGE---It's been less than two months since the 2015 Graduate had UCL or  "Tommy John" surgery on his throwing arm. Although his senior season is in question, his future is not, as returning staff ace Cody Wood commits to be a lobo next year. 

Even coming off of surgery, the staff at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque) had seen enough from Wood to extend an offer, an offer in which he accepted. 

In his High School career, Wood has compiled a 9-1 record on the mound, with a 2.75ERA helping Marc Johnson's club reach back-to-back final four appearances.

Wood's commitment makes it the sixth consecutive senior class to have at least one player commit to play Division 1 baseball.
