2025 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Clint Boettcher
Clint Boettcher was nominated for playing 12 seasons and hitting 45 career homeruns. By our limited data base, it seems he’s an all-time homerun league leader. In 162 games (13.5 games/season) he has a .491 career batting average.
Clint has played for the Newburgh Phillies, the New York Mariners, and the Trash Pandas.
As a catcher Clint’s prowess behind the plate was admirable. While playing for the Mariners and now the Trash Pandas, the middle of the order bat was one to be reckoned with.
A 2x 18+ MVP, Clint was a key component to the powerhouse Mariners teams playing in the Sunday 18+ league winning the championship four times, and once in 2019 during the 35 Twilight league.
Clint joined Trevor Purcell as an assistant coach for Mount Saint Mary College where he oversees hitters and catchers.

Sven Jenkins
Sven Jenkins has participated in the HVMSBL since 2011. As a member of the Newburgh Phillies, Dutchess Tigers (Red Sox), Hudson River Falcons, New York Outlaws, The Knights, and Bridge City Athletics, Sven has notched 1,100+ Plate Appearances in 325 Games. As of 2025, he is currently 2nd all-time in Runs, Hits and RBI, and 1st all-time in HitByPitch by a large margin. Those numbers are bolstered by a career .403/.514/.485 batting line. Defensively, Jenkins is known as one of the top fielders in the league, manning shortstop for most of his time in the HVMSBL.
Jenkins was league MVP in 2013 for the 35+ division and he was also named as the 2019 Manager of the Year.
Perhaps the most impressive stat... Sven has been the player/manager of the Bridge City Athletics for ten years, and in EVERY one of those seasons they have played in the championship series. The A’s have won six of those championships (2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022). All told, Jenkins has won eight HVMSBL titles, including 2011 and 2012 with The Knights.
His championship resume extends beyond the HVMSBL as well, having won a total of 21 adult baseball titles in various leagues, including... Newburgh Phillies (2014, 2015, 2017, Newburgh Hardball League), Dutchess County Cardinals (2014 Albany Labor Day Tournament), NY Mariners (2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, HVNABA and 2012 Florida World Series), NorthSide Black Sox (2002, 2004 Chicago IL Metropolitan Baseball Association), D&R Plumbers (2000 HVBA), EZ Street Cleaning Stunners (1999 Poughkeepsie Twilight League).
As Manager of the A’s, Sven is consistently on time with payments, players are always in uniform, and he regularly communicates with league management. Additionally, Sven has served on the League Leadership Group in the past, devoting even more time to the league than most.

Scott McMahon
A 12-year player in the HVMSBL, Scott McMahon was a stalwart on the mound for the Dutchess Reds.
Playing for briefly for the Hudson Valley Angels, then the Poughkeepsie Brewers, and finally the Dutchess Reds, Scott McMahon played in 160 games, pitching in 132 of them. He started 124 times completing 79 games, shutting out his opponents 16 times. His career ERA of 2.14 is aided by limiting his opponents to a .243 batting average.
A quick view of the career statistics, shows that Scott is 3rd all time in Innings Pitched behind Jim Petrosino, and while it reflects 741.2 IP, you must also account for the Brewers time which get him to 794. A more accurate account places him 3rd behind Jim Petrosino (1600+ IP) and Ed Pinyan (860+ IP).
Always a competitor, Scott has amassed 649 K’s while walking only 206. If that weren’t enough, his batting statistics are no joke. Scott left the league with a .350 career batting average hitting 3 round-trippers and collecting 97 career RBI in 160 games.
A 3x Cy Young Award Winner (1x @ 18+ in 2009, 2x in 35+ in 2012 & 2013), he also participated on the 2009 18+ Orioles championship team (for which there are no statistics found in the system).
