Leroy Butts | Guard/Forward

Leroy Butts enters his second season with the Park City DREAMERS and his fourth season in the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) as one of the league’s most accomplished and battle-tested competitors. A three-time ECBL All-Star, Butts has built a reputation as a relentless competitor whose intensity and production have earned him respect across the league.

A native of Washington, D.C., Butts played his collegiate basketball at Radford University and Fayetteville State University before taking his game internationally with professional stops in Germany and Australia.

Away from basketball, Butts is known for his blue-collar mentality, working in construction while continuing to pursue excellence on the court. His greatest motivations are simple but powerful — to be a great basketball player and an even greater father.

If he weren’t playing basketball, Butts says he would likely pursue a career in art, showcasing another side of his personality that values creativity as much as competition.

Known for his unique pregame routine of energy drinks and Skittles, Butts brings a fearless edge to every game, living by his personal on-court mantra: “To kill or be killed,” a reflection of the aggressive, no-nonsense approach he brings every time he steps between the lines.

As he continues his journey with the DREAMERS, Butts remains focused on winning, leadership, and leaving his mark as both a competitor and a role model.
